OASYS is seeking partnership and collaboration with civil society organisations across the world

OASYS is keen to work with all those who are committed to community development around the world. We are therefore seeking to collaborate with stakeholders from different backgrounds in building sustainable civil society organisations who can deliver effective and quality services to their beneficiaries in the field.

Where it is appropriate, some of our work will be carried out through a carefully selected team of locally based lead consultants (LLCs) with the specialised skills and knowledge required to deliver services tailored to the specific needs and circumstances within which our clients are operating.

Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) - top

Our clients are primarily drawn from those voluntary and community organisations who are implementing development projects and programmes dedicated to improving the living conditions of the poor, deprived and hopeless around the world. These Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), charities and Community-Based Organisations (CBOs) are at the heart of our vision for community development, and will be our principal source of clients in our strategic and operational plans.

Public and Local Authorities (PLAs) - top

National governments and regional authorities have a fundamental mandate to supply essential services to their local populace. In order to optimise the delivery of these services to end-users, public bodies frequently require the assistance of community-based organisations and intermediaries to reach all sectors of the population. We are committed to working with public-sector bodies at all levels to help them to assist these organisations in providing the best possible service to their end-users.

International Institutions and Organisations (IIOs) - top

Most development support is channelled through international bodies such as UN age ncies, funding bodies, bilateral and multilateral institutions for development, and international private foundations. We recognise the importance of these bodies and are keen to build long-term working relationships with them. We can help them to achieve their objectives in the developing world by providing financial and management support tailored to the specific needs of their implementing partners in the field.

Community Businesses and Entrepreneurs (CBEs) - top

We strongly believe that community-based businesses and entrepreneurs also have a key role to play in helping to lift their communities out of poverty, hunger and disease. We are keenly aware that whilst funding from overseas donors and international agencies is critical in starting the process of communal regeneration it is equally vital to support, promote and encourage business initiatives within the community. We aim to devote an increasing proportion of our time, resources and energies to helping create permanent jobs and generate local prosperity by supporting those individuals with the requisite skills and entrepreneurial flair.
